My name is Amanda Sörensen and I am a ceramist based in Stockholm.

I explored various media before finding my passion for clay as an art student in 2020. During the summer of 2023, I learned to throw and soon after I began an apprenticeship at Drejverkstaden in Stockholm.

"Glänta" is a tribute to Swedish flora and nature, which showcase my artistic vision and craftsmanship. The name comes from the Swedish word for "glade", a sunlit forest clearing that symbolizes warmth and spirituality.
